Account Manager

Position Overview:

We are seeking to recruit an Account Manager within NetRefer. Reporting to the Head of Professional Services, the successful candidate will be responsible to understand and define professional solutions to potential and existing clients while managing the growth of a portfolio of client accounts. This shall also include the provision of a consultancy service to support with client requirements while generating revenue in line with Company strategy.


Further key responsibilities include:

  • Working closely with NetRefer clients to develop business performance and profitability and achieving the desired growth in line with business objectives;
  • Implementing an account management strategy aligned to the overall business strategy;
  • Build and maintain strong, long lasting client relationships
  • Responsible for negotiating contract renewals and project agreements for assigned clients
  • Understanding of client requirements and ensuring project delivery as per customer needs and within time, quality and budget
  • Ensure good relations and effective communication channels with all team members while responding effectively and in a timely fashion to managed clients
  • Serve as the lead POC for customer related requests and escalation of issues
  • Responsible to maintain client profiles and ensure timely reports on client account status and metrics


The successful candidate would ideally have the following knowledge, skills and experience:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, IT or related field;
  • A minimum of 3 years’ hands-on experience in a client focused role, preferably as an Account Manager;
  • Client service oriented and able to interact effectively with business partners;
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions
  • Excellent negotiation, communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence clients at all levels, including C-Level;
  • Experience with CRM software will be considered an asset;
  • Strong organisation and planning skills as well as problem solving;
