Marketing Content Editor

Marketing and Communications Team


Position Overview:
The Marketing Content Editor (MCE) is responsible for the co-ordination, preparation and distribution of all Netrefer’s communications, both internal and external. This role requires a highly experienced individual that is very pro-active in how they go about their work. 


Essential Job Functions:

Under the direction of the Marketing Manager, the MCE role requires the individual to work across the business organization with key stakeholders developing and planning various activities dealing with but not limited to:

  • Nurturing trust among clients by creating solid connecting content such as email, events, direct mail, website content etc…;
  • Creating high quality and effective marketing materials that align correctly with the overall brand strategy;
  • Liaising with and developing strong business partnerships with third party content consultants;
  • Working & collaborating with other teams to collate relevant and engaging content;
  • Being solution-focused while continually sharing and communicating learnings.


The MCE will be responsible to support the Marketing Team in the creation and management of professional marketing content style ensuring NetRefer projects an innovative, authoritative image reflecting the culture of the company to clients, their customers and the public. The former to be applied consistently in all communications, including but not limited to:

  • Advertising
  • Email Marketing
  • Client Communications
  • Social Media
  • Website Content
  • Marketing & Sales Collateral


Knowledge, skills and experience required:

  • 3-4 years previous experience as a Marketing Content Editor or a similar role
  • Publish articles/press releases
  • Experience in Digital Marketing Campaigns
  • Experience doing research using multiple sources
  • Familiarity with web publications
  • Excellent writing and editing skills in English
  • Hands on experience with Content Management Systems (eg wordpress)
  • Qualified in Marketing or related field (Digital Marketing Degree would be considered a plus).
