We are seeking to recruit an HR Generalist focused on Recruitment & Employee Relations, who will be expected to demonstrate Human Resource Management expertise combined with general business and management skills. You will be responsible to support the HR Department in its daily operational activities and assist in the organization and implementation of HR projects and key functions, in contribution to the organisation’s operational and strategic goals.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Creating, updating and enforcing HR policies and procedures;
  • Maintaining and updating departmental systems and databases;
  • Acting as a point of reference for staff members;
  • Coordinating the recruitment and selection processes in terms of sourcing, shortlisting & interviewing candidates & making job offers;
  • Coordinating the induction process of new joiners;
  • Delivering best practice, cost-effective recruitment and assessment procedures to attract and retain talent;
  • Issuing and submitting reports on general HR / employee activity; 
  • Reporting related health and safety issues and welfare;
  • Administrating the organisation’s benefits package;
  • Efficiently see to HR internal and external related queries while providing the necessary support;
  • Maintaining the organisation’s employer brand through management of its social media channels and participation in external events; 
  • Supporting the Training and Development cycle;
  • Assisting in the preparation of the company performance management process;
  • Maintaining effective employee relations and employee engagement.
 
Knowledge, Skills and Experience required:
  • Previous experience in a similar role;
  • Good knowledge of HR processes, best practices and employment law;
  • A professional and commercial approach to HR, with the ability to deliver high employee satisfaction, appropriate development and reward for individuals;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Effective planning, organisational and time management skills;
  • Proficiency in the use of MS Office applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook;
  • Comfortable in dealing with senior individuals;
  • Ability to build rapport quickly with key members of the executive team;
  • Confident in people management and development.

Previous experience in a similar role;

Good knowledge of HR processes, best practices and employment law;
